Check the router: Long into the router. On Basic look at the network map and click on Wired under client devices. See if there are any listings. This is a known issue with Asus routers with 8 LAN Ports. Mainly because it isn't an 8 Port switch, rather, it is two 4 port switches patched together. You may have many more years out of the router (assuming security updates continue) by simply buying a 5 or 8 Port switch and only using ports 1-4 on the router. Simply do not use Ports 5-8 at all.
Be sure your using CAT6 patch cables. CAT5 does not support 1000Mpbs. Try a different PC or laptop connected to the LAN ports. Don't connect anything to the Multigig port for now. Be sure your ISP has setup and activated the modem on there system. You'll have to contact them about this. View solution in original post.
IEEE 802.3bz, NBASE-T and MGBASE-T refer to standards for Ethernet over twisted pair at speeds of 2.5 Gbit/s and 5 Gbit/s. This represents intermediate speeds between Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The resulting standards are named 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T. It is for future use.

3. Restart the DHCP within the web interface of the modem to see if that resolves the issue. 4. Try to renew all DHCP leases through the DHCP server via the web interface. 5. Try to disable the DHCP server on the modem and use another router or only statically assign addresses to see if this mearly resolves the issue.

Connects Ethernet cable from main router's LAN port to the LAN port of the switch. Connects Ethernet cable from the LAN port of the switch to WAN port of the other AiMesh node. To ensure network switch compatibility, please set the Connection Priority to "Ethernet" in mesh node settings. Scenario 3: Use AiMesh or ZenWiFi with network I had this same issue. 3 different starlink Ethernet adapters did not work. I could unplug Ethernet cord from starlink and plug into any other Ethernet port and it worked fine. Wifi was fine and router was connecting to dishy fine. Took a long time to get the issue across to starlink support. They at first offered to send a new Ethernet adapter. When I go to troubleshoot, it says "The Ethernet Adapter is not working properly". I have already tried multiple times to reinstall drivers, disabling and reenabling my ethernet port in BIOS, and even trying different cables. My Ethernet Adapter is built into my motherboard. The port stays a solid orange color whether I have an Ethernet cable
